Reach Out to Give

Quotes and Notes,#106,  February 17

“Life is always a tight rope or a feather bed. Give me the tight rope.”--Edith Wharton

Basking in the light and warmth of a candle is comfortable, but there is always that impulse to see just how close we can get our finger to the flame before being burned. Without reaching out a bit there can be no learning, no knowledge, and…and no kindness.

The easiest way to reach out to the world is to create a random kindness. This builds your personal safety net under the tight rope.

Today, share a hug as well as a smile

Everything is going to be all right.
