Quotes and Notes #150, April 3
“Calm mind brings inner strength and self-confidence, so that’s very important for good health.”–Dalai Lama
We know that stress is not healthy. Sometimes it is important to stop, relax, and consciously, carefully, work your mind around the causes and solutions associated with stressful situations.
To stop and calmly analyze a situation increases the feelings of strength and reduces doubts in your abilities to handle things. This, in turn, builds your feeling of self confidence, makes you happier and more relaxed. It’s a complex relationship but it carries healthful benefits. Sharing a smile will help others to build self confidence.
A good mantra for relaxing:
“Everything is going to be all right
