Quotes and Notes #181, May 5
“Leave the beaten track behind occasionally and dive into the woods. Every time you do, you will be certain to find something you have never seen before.”—Alexander Graham Bell—
When was the last time you meandered? We should take frequent “nature breaks” and use the time from our busy lives to visit some place different, to look and peruse, and to notice things that are new to us. “The woods” could mean “the city” if you live in the woods or it could mean “the mountains” if you live by the sea. Of course, a walk around the yard will always give us something to look at and learn about—a new wild flower, a new bird, or something that I can’t guess about.
And share a smile
Everything is going to be all right.

Meandering ranks right up there with naps for me. I do believe I’m due for both today.
