Quotes and Notes #187 May 15
“Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.”—Max Ehrmann—
Are you upset because something went wrong and it was your fault? Get over it. Are you concerned because you don’t seem to “fit in” some situation or another? Don’t worry about it. You probably don’t—accept it.
Do you worry that you are not the person your parents, teachers, preachers, lovers, bosses, etc. want you to be? That’s good, at least you’re not boring. Be yourself and enjoy it.
