Quotes and Notes #190, May 18
“How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a weary world.”—William Shakespeare, “The Merchant of Venice”—
Sometimes I look at the big buildings and the works of the great architects and builders with awe. I feel diminished in that I have not made my mark on the world. Later, though, sometime during the day, someone will walk up to me and smile and say, “Everything is going to be all right.” It lets me know that my mark is out there. It may be small, but it is there, nevertheless.
Everyone has something to offer. Everyone has a light to shine. Put yours out there.
Everything is going to be all right
