Peter Pan told me I didn’t have to grow up unless I wanted to. I have listened. I have decided that I shall not dwell on the after-effects of Chemo. I will not allow the residuals of a carpal tunnel operation to cloud my thinking. I have chosen to enjoy not having to tend to an over-abundance of hair on my head.

I have decided to be who I am, to enjoy the memories and to look forward to the balance of my life, no matter what it may hold.

Everything is going to be all right
