Home Is Where You Find It…

Quotes and Notes  #342, October 12

A home for comfort and nourishment.

A home for comfort and nourishment.

“If I could find a real-life place that made me feel like Tiffany’s, then I’d buy some furniture and give the cat a name.”—Truman Capote, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”—

“At the end of the day, it isn’t where I came from. Maybe home is somewhere I’m going and never have been before.”—Warsan Shire—

Finding home is more mental than physical. A home is for comfort, nourishment, content, and happiness. Home is a place to relax and calm our fears and troubles.

Home is a place to sit silently and meditate—and to know that everything is going to be all right.
