“There are two ways to get enough. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.”–G.K. Chesterton
The other day a friend who follows my writing came up to me in the grocery store and asked, “John, just when is everything going to be all right?” I thought about it and answered, “It’s going to be all right when you get your mind to accept some things that you are fighting.” There are always alternatives.
Another way to get enough is to give what you don’t need to someone who does need it. The act of giving will make you feel good and make someone else happy. Check out the sunset this evening.
Everything is going to be all right.
