Try The Pause That Pleases…

Quotes and Notes #237, July 7

“Now and then it’s good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.”—Guillaume Apollinaire—

Stop and look at the world before the start of the day.

Work the garden with dedication. Dream of its potential yield. Add fertilizer in just the right amounts, and wait for the harvest. While waiting for the harvest, be sure to pull an early tomato and stand there in the field enjoying it with the sweet juice dripping down your chin and onto your shirt. Take a break and enjoy.

Reach out and Grab Your Dream

Quotes and Notes #182, May 6

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”—Anais Nin—

Are you afraid to open up and reach your full potential? Do you have a dream that you want to pursue but you hold back on it because you’re not quite sure of your abilities? Would you like to write a book but you’re not quite sure if you have the talent? What is your greatest developmental fear?

If these words make you nod your head in agreement or shake your head slowly side to side in frustration, it is time to start a transformation. To merely start on your goal will make you feel free and happy. As you move on you will feel even better. Often the trip is worth more than the destination.

Share a smile along the way.
